1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use and Sale ("Terms") are a binding legal agreement between you ("the User") and GPAtlas LTD ("GPAtlas", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the GPAtlas platform, accessible at

By accessing the Site, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. For details on how we handle your personal data, please refer to our

2. IMPORTANT: Educational Disclaimer

GPAtlas is an independent educational provider. All content, including proprietary topics, summaries, audio, exam preparation materials, and AI-generated outputs, is for educational and professional development purposes only.

The content is not a substitute for your own professional clinical judgement, official guidance (e.g. NICE, BNF, SIGN, and NHS), or local protocols. You remain solely responsible for all your clinical decisions and patient care. Users are responsible for verifying all information against current clinical standards. We offer no guarantee of exam success.

Content Currency and Derivation:

Ocean articles on GPAtlas represent our most up-to-date clinical content. Audio summaries (Echo), podcasts, and visual infographics (Scope) are derived from these articles and may not immediately reflect recent updates. For the latest guidance, always refer to the primary Ocean articles and verify with relevant national guidance.

Originality and Non-Affiliation:

All exam resources provided on the Site, including AceTheSCA cases and AKT Compass questions and mock exams, are entirely original, fictional, and created solely for educational simulation. They do not contain, nor are they based upon, recalled exam material, past papers, or proprietary content from the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) or any other examining body. Any resemblance to actual exam questions or real patient encounters is purely coincidental. The teaching notes are written by us against published UK guidance, with citations to the bodies that issued it. Clinical photographs and charts used in questions are either our own or openly licensed for reuse, and are displayed with attribution where the licence requires one. GPAtlas is an independent educational platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the RCGP, the General Medical Council, NICE, the British National Formulary, the NHS, or any other examining, guidance or professional body whose material we may reference. All third-party organisation names, guidance, and trademarks referred to on the Site remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and educational purposes only.

GPAtlas may provide summaries of publicly available healthcare news, guidance, and updates from third-party sources (such as NICE, NHS, and others). These summaries are provided for informational and educational purposes only, may simplify source material, and do not constitute official publications or endorsements. Users should always refer to the original sources for complete and current information.

Content & Clinical Disclaimer: Our clinical content is original material, reviewed and approved by our own clinicians for educational purposes, and is consistent with current UK clinical guidance. 3. Eligibility

Access to and use of the Site is restricted to individuals aged 18 or over who are healthcare professionals, trainees, or students in a relevant medical discipline.

4. Subscriptions, Access, and Payments

4.1 Term Access Plans:

Fixed-term passes (e.g. 3 or 4 months), and the twelve-month AceTheSCA, AKT Compass, SCA Hero and AKT Hero plans, are single, one-time purchases that expire automatically. They never renew and there is nothing to cancel.

4.2 Recurring Subscriptions:

Monthly subscriptions, and the annual subscriptions to GPAtlas Premium, GPAtlas Pro and GP Superhero, renew automatically. An annual SCA Hero or AKT Hero subscription taken out before 21 September 2026 continues to renew as agreed until it is cancelled; from that date those two plans are sold for twelve months as a single payment under section 4.1. You may cancel at any time via your account dashboard. When you cancel, the cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period (either the month or the year). This describes how cancellation works and does not affect your 14-day right to cancel, which is set out in section 4.5.5.

4.3 Price Adjustments:

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. For recurring subscriptions, we will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price changes. Revised pricing will take effect at your next renewal.

4.4 Refunds:

Except where you have a statutory right to a refund, price reduction or other remedy, payments are non-refundable once supply has begun, whether you have used the access in part or not at all. Section 4.5 explains the basis for this, and section 4.5.1 sets out our approach where something has gone wrong.

4.4.1 Chargeback and Dispute Policy:

If you believe a payment has been taken incorrectly, please contact GPAtlas support first so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, resolve the issue promptly. This does not affect any rights or remedies available to you under applicable law or through your card issuer or payment provider.

4.5 Your 14-day right to cancel (right to change your mind):

As a consumer you would ordinarily have 14 days in which to cancel a subscription, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Everything we supply is digital content and is made available to you immediately on payment. Accordingly, at checkout you give your express consent to supply beginning immediately and acknowledge that, in doing so, you lose your 14-day right to cancel. That consent and acknowledgement are set out in full immediately above the payment button. Once supply has begun, the payment is not refundable. You may nevertheless end your subscription at any time: cancellation prevents further renewals, and you retain the access you have already paid for until the end of that period. Where you subscribe for a business, practice or organisation rather than as a consumer, the statutory right does not arise.

4.5.1 Beyond your statutory rights:

If something has gone wrong, or you have subscribed in error or to the wrong plan, please contact us. We consider each refund or credit request on its own facts and aim to reach a fair outcome, and we would always prefer to resolve a matter with you directly. Any refund or credit granted on that basis is made as a matter of goodwill and at our discretion; it neither reduces nor replaces the rights set out above.

4.6 Secure Payment Processing:

All payments are processed securely via Stripe. GPAtlas does not store or have access to your full credit card details. Payment information is handled in accordance with Stripe's security and privacy terms and privacy policy.

4.7 AI Suite Credits:

Access to the GPAtlas AI Suite is managed using a credit system.

Monthly allowance:

Every paid plan that includes the AI tools carries a monthly credit allowance, refreshed automatically on the monthly anniversary of the subscription. The size of the allowance depends on the plan you hold, and how much of it you have left is shown in your account at any time. Where a member holds more than one qualifying plan at the same time, one allowance applies (the largest of them), not the sum. Plans that are exam-only, such as AceTheSCA or AKT Compass on its own, do not carry an allowance.

GPAtlas Premium, Pro and Max:

All three plans include the full clinical library and the AI tools (Ask Expert, Admin Copilot, and the Portfolio & Appraisal Hub). They differ only in the size of the monthly AI allowance, with Pro and Max carrying progressively larger allowances than Premium. Each carries its own monthly allowance and unlimited Admin Copilot, subject to fair use, on the same basis as the "Monthly allowance" and "Admin Copilot" provisions above. The allowance for each plan is shown on the pricing page and in your account. You may move between them at any time.

SCA Hero (AceTheSCA and the clinical library):

AKT Hero (AKT Compass and the clinical library):

The AKT Hero bundle combines an AKT Compass subscription with everything in GPAtlas Premium in a single purchase, offered from the AKT area as a monthly subscription, or as a single payment for a fixed term of four or twelve months. It is built around the AKT and includes no AceTheSCA content and no AI Consultation Simulator. Its AI Suite entitlements are provided on exactly the same basis as GPAtlas Premium described above: it carries its own monthly credit allowance and unlimited Admin Copilot subject to fair use. AKT Hero subscribers may also purchase top-up credits, which apply as set out below.

GP Superhero (everything on GPAtlas):

The GP Superhero bundle combines everything on the platform in a single purchase: the full clinical library and AI tools of GPAtlas Premium, the whole of AceTheSCA including a monthly allowance of AI Consultation Simulator sessions, and the whole of AKT Compass. It is offered from the plans page as a monthly or annual subscription.

Its AI Suite entitlements are provided on the same basis as the "Monthly allowance" and "Admin Copilot (unlimited, fair use)" provisions above, with a monthly credit allowance on the same basis as GPAtlas Pro, twice the Premium allowance. GP Superhero subscribers may also purchase top-up credits, which apply as set out below. Members who held GP Superhero from before it returned to sale keep the access and terms they have.

SCA Hero, AKT Hero and GP Superhero are exclusive bundles:

Because each bundle already includes the full clinical library and the AI tools, the SCA Hero, AKT Hero and GP Superhero bundles cannot be held together with GPAtlas Premium, GPAtlas Pro, GPAtlas Max, the AI Suite plan, or with each other. In keeping with how these overlapping plans operate, a member who already holds any one of them moves to a bundle by changing plan (see Section 4.9) rather than by holding both, and may not hold a bundle and an overlapping plan at the same time. A bundle also cannot be held alongside the standalone subscription for the exam it already contains: SCA Hero and GP Superhero include AceTheSCA, and AKT Hero and GP Superhero include AKT Compass, so holding both would charge you twice for the same exam content. A standalone subscription for an exam your plan does not contain remains a separate add-on; for example, a GPAtlas Premium member may still add AceTheSCA, and so may an AKT Hero member.

Admin Copilot (unlimited, fair use):

For every active subscription that carries a monthly AI allowance, Admin Copilot is provided on an unlimited basis and does not consume credits, subject to a fair-use allowance of 500 drafts per month that resets on the monthly anniversary of the subscription. Trial users are charged one credit per Admin Copilot draft. We may apply reasonable fair-use measures to prevent automated, abusive, or excessive use.

No rollover:

The monthly credit allowance does not roll over. Unused monthly credits expire when the allowance refreshes and have no cash value.

Top-up credits:

Additional credits may be purchased separately by any subscriber whose plan carries a monthly AI allowance, and apply across the AI Suite tools. A standalone AceTheSCA or AKT Compass subscription does not carry an AI allowance, so top-ups cannot be bought on those plans alone. They cannot be used in the AI Consultation Simulator, which runs on its own separate credit balance (Section 5.9). Top-up credits do not expire while you hold an active subscription. If you cease to hold any active subscription, your remaining

credits are preserved but frozen until you resubscribe, at which point they are restored in full; any unused

monthly allowance

ends with the subscription and is not restored. Trial credits are administered separately and are not subject to this provision. Top-up credit purchases are subject to Section 4.4, and to your cancellation rights in Section 4.5.

Trial credits:

New users who verify their email address may receive a one-time allowance of complimentary trial credits to evaluate the AI Suite. Trial credits are a single grant, are not refreshed, have no cash value, and may be varied or withdrawn at our discretion.

Included generations:

Certain outputs (for example, short patient SMS messages generated in Admin Copilot) may be provided without consuming a credit. For every subscription carrying a monthly allowance this forms part of unlimited Admin Copilot use. Trial and non-subscriber use is charged as set out above. We reserve the right to change which generations are included.

Fair use:

Credits are provided for your individual professional and educational use. We reserve the right to apply reasonable rate limits and to suspend access where we detect automated, abusive, or excessive use.

4.8 Free, Sample, and Visitor Access:

Certain content is available without a paid subscription. The level of access depends on whether you are signed in and whether you hold an active subscription:

Visitors (not signed in):

you may browse case and topic listings and view limited preview extracts of selected content. A small number of designated public sample items may be viewable in full, and introductory or training videos may be made available to visitors. Full content, audio, model answers, and study tools require an account and, where applicable, a subscription.

Registered (free) users:

you receive full access to any content we designate as a free sample, including its associated audio and study tools (such as the consultation timer), together with preview extracts of other content. Content that is not designated free remains locked until you purchase the relevant subscription.

Subscribers:

you receive full access to all content within the module(s) you have subscribed to, for the duration of your subscription.

For example, in AceTheSCA a visitor may view a single public sample case and the introductory consultation and training videos; a registered free user gains full access to the cases, dilemmas, and guides we have marked as free samples; and an active AceTheSCA subscriber gains full access to all SCA cases and resources. In AKT Compass, a registered free user can answer the questions we have marked as free samples and sit the mock exam we have marked as a free sample, and an active AKT Compass subscriber gains full access to the question bank, the three mock exams and the teaching notes. We may change which items are designated as free, public-sample, or preview content, and the extent of any preview, at any time. All free, sample, and visitor access is provided for individual evaluation and educational use only, and is subject to the same account-conduct (Section 9) and intellectual-property (Section 8) terms as paid access.

5.1 Educational support, not medical advice:

All AI Suite outputs are provided for educational and administrative support only. They are

medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations, and are not a substitute for your own professional clinical judgement, official national guidance (such as NICE, SIGN, and the BNF), or your local policy. You must always verify any information against current guidance and local policy before acting on it. You remain solely and fully responsible for all clinical decisions, documentation, and patient care.

5.2 AI can make mistakes:

Although our tools are designed to draw on trusted UK clinical sources and to provide citations where applicable, artificial intelligence can produce information that is incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. You must independently review and verify every output. GPAtlas does not warrant that AI Suite outputs are accurate, current, or fit for any particular purpose.

5.3 No patient-identifiable information:

You must

enter patient-identifiable information into any AI Suite tool. This includes (without limitation) names, dates of birth, NHS numbers, addresses, contact details, or any combination of information that could reasonably identify a patient. The AI Suite is intended for use with anonymised clinical scenarios only. You are solely responsible for ensuring that no patient-identifiable or otherwise confidential information is entered, and for compliance with your data protection obligations and your employer's information governance policies.

5.4 Ask Expert and Admin Copilot:

Some AI Suite tools retain a history of your interactions to provide platform features. Details of what is stored, and how you may delete it or exercise your data protection rights, are set out in our

5.6 Feedback:

The AI Suite provides feedback controls (such as 👍 / 👎 ratings, with an option to tell us what was wrong) on tool outputs. Providing feedback is voluntary, and you must not include any patient-identifiable or otherwise confidential information in it. By submitting feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant GPAtlas a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use them to operate and improve our products and services, without obligation or compensation to you.

5.7 Voice dictation and file attachments:

The AI Suite provides optional voice dictation (which converts your spoken question into text for your review and editing before anything is sent) and, in Ask Expert, optional file attachments (PDF documents, photographs of documents, and text files) to give context to a question. Dictated audio and attached files are processed transiently in memory to generate your answer and are

never stored

5.8 Regulatory status:

GPAtlas Ask Expert and GPAtlas Whisper are registered with the MHRA as Class I medical devices under the UK Medical Devices Regulations 2002 and carry the UKCA mark, with Declarations of Conformity held by the manufacturer, GPAtlas LTD (Company No. 16587886).

Registration with the MHRA is not approval or endorsement by the MHRA.

This regulatory status does not change the educational nature of the tools or your responsibilities set out above.

5.9 AceTheSCA AI Consultation Simulator:

The AI Consultation Simulator lets you practise a spoken consultation with an AI-generated patient and receive AI-generated feedback and marking, as exam preparation for the RCGP SCA. The patients are

entirely fictional

not a medical device

and its marking is an educational estimate only, not a prediction or guarantee of your performance in any real examination. Your spoken audio is transcribed to text and then

immediately deleted

and never stored; only the resulting transcript and marking are saved to your account so you can review your attempts. You can ask us to delete any attempt at any time by contacting us, and your attempts are deleted when you close your account. You must

never describe or disclose a real patient

do not expire

no refund is due for any plan, pass or credit pack on the basis of consultations used or unused

coaching chat

about that consultation, which is

included at no extra credit

and allows unlimited follow-up questions. The coaching is AI-generated educational feedback about your practice consultation only; it is

not clinical advice

5.10 AI mock exam:

not a prediction or guarantee

of your performance in any real examination. Mock cases are selected as a spread across the RCGP blueprint's Clinical Experience Groups so that a circuit covers a representative range; this is our own mapping of our own cases and is not endorsed by the RCGP. Before a mock begins you choose the timing that applies to every station: 3 minutes of reading with a 12-minute consultation (as in the real SCA), 3 minutes 45 seconds with 12, or 3 minutes 45 seconds with a 15-minute consultation as the extra-time accommodation, all at the same credit cost. A mock costs

one simulator credit per station

and needs a minimum of six, so you may sit one whether or not you subscribe: a non-subscriber simply buys credits at the price shown on the purchase page and the mock unlocks the cases it selects for that mock only. Mock credits are spent as the mock runs and are

non-refundable outside the cancellation rights described in Section 4.5

never include a case that appeared in one of your previous mocks

5.11 GPAtlas Whisper (ambient scribe):

Whisper is not yet generally available; these terms apply where we have made it available to you.

Whisper listens to a consultation and drafts a structured consultation note for your review. Unlike the AI Suite tools above, Whisper necessarily processes what is said in a real consultation, so Section 5.3 applies to it in a modified form: you must still keep identifiers out of the recording wherever possible, and in particular you must

never state the patient's name or address

during a recorded consultation; the note never needs them. Before recording you must tell the patient (or their representative) what you are doing and proceed only with their agreement, in line with your practice's or organisation's policies; do not record where agreement is not given. The recording reaches us in short pieces while the consultation is still going on, so you are not left waiting when you stop. We hold it only for as long as it takes to produce the note: it is passed to a specialist speech-recognition provider for transcription,

our copy is deleted as soon as the note is saved

The audio never becomes part of your stored record.

Only the transcript text and the drafted note are saved to your account; you can delete any consultation at any time, and your consultations are deleted when you close your account. Every note is a

draft for your review

6. Portfolio & Appraisal Hub: Your Responsibility

The Portfolio & Appraisal Hub is a supportive coaching tool that helps you draft and refine reflective entries for the RCGP Workplace Based Assessment (WPBA) and ongoing appraisal. The following terms apply specifically to its use:

Based on your own real experience:

Entries must be based on real cases, encounters, or events in which you have personally been involved. You must not fabricate clinical scenarios or present events you were not involved in as your own.

No patient-identifiable information:

As with all AI Suite tools, you must not enter patient-identifiable information. Reflective entries must be appropriately anonymised at all times.

AI supports your reflection, not replaces it:

The Hub is designed to help you articulate and structure your own reflection, not to generate reflection on your behalf. To support genuine engagement, the platform requires you to develop your reflection through its guided coaching conversation before a polished entry can be generated.

You must review and verify every entry:

Although we have tested the Hub rigorously to reduce inaccuracies, AI can still make mistakes. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying every entry, including any clinical content, against current guidance and your local policy before using it. All generated content is provided as editable, copyable material.

Declaring use of AI:

Where you use an AI-assisted entry in your portfolio or appraisal, you are responsible for declaring the use of AI in accordance with the expectations of your educational supervisor, your deanery, and the RCGP. GPAtlas does not make this declaration on your behalf.

No automatic transmission:

The Portfolio & Appraisal Hub does not automatically transmit your portfolio entries to FourteenFish or any other third-party portfolio platform. You copy and submit content into your portfolio yourself, and remain responsible for what you submit.

Professional responsibility:

You retain full professional responsibility for all content you submit to your portfolio, appraiser, deanery, or regulator. You are responsible for reviewing content generated using GPAtlas AI tools and deciding whether it is suitable for your intended use, including verifying accuracy, anonymising appropriately, and declaring the use of AI where required. AI-generated content should not be relied upon as a substitute for appropriate professional judgement, verification or review.

7. Special Offers and Hardship Access

7.1 Discretionary Nature:

All discounts and special access plans are offered at the sole discretion of GPAtlas and may be withdrawn or modified at any time.

7.2 FY2 and Medical Student Discounts:

Eligible users may apply for a

7.3 Hardship Access:

Users who provide evidence of failing the AKT or SCA exam

two or more times

may apply for a discretionary

30% discount, applied for the first 12 months of the subscription

7.4 Free and Gifted Access:

From time to time we grant free, time-limited access to parts of the platform, for example a founding member's free month, a free month for exam resitters, an educator evaluation trial, a deanery or training-programme access code, or a reward earned through our referral programme. Unless we state otherwise in writing: each such grant is

Training Programme Directors, GP trainers and educational supervisors may apply for a discretionary

50% discount on AceTheSCA and AKT Compass subscription plans (including the SCA Hero and AKT Hero plans)

7.7 Free Trial:

We may offer a free trial of GPAtlas Premium (currently seven days) to new members. The trial requires a payment card, which Stripe stores; nothing is charged during the trial. At the end of the trial the subscription converts automatically to the plan and billing cycle you chose, at the price shown, and the exact date and amount of that first payment are shown to you before you enter your card and again on your account page. You may cancel at any time before that date from your account page and nothing will be charged. The trial is once per person: we use your email address and a Stripe card fingerprint (a token that identifies the card, never the card number) to offer it once, and a repeat trial started on a card or email address that has already had one is cancelled at once, with nothing charged. The trial covers GPAtlas Premium only, not the exam modules or the consultation simulator; it carries a small one-time allowance of AI credits (in addition to any free credits the account already holds) rather than the monthly allowance, which begins with the first payment. We do not send a reminder before the first payment. Anyone who has already had a founding month, an educator or resitter free period, or gifted access is not eligible for the trial.

7.8 Live Session Partners:

We approve some GP educators as live session partners, to run free sessions through GPAtlas. While a partner is approved, they may show, discuss and work through GPAtlas materials with the trainees who join the sessions they run through GPAtlas, using the free access we grant them for that purpose. This permission is personal to the partner and covers those sessions only: it does not extend to any other teaching, tutoring, coaching or course, whether paid or free, and it ends when their partnership ends. A partner must not copy, download, screenshot, record or distribute our materials, include them in any recording of a session, or share their account or access with anyone. Sessions run in a video meeting room that we provide and host; a partner joins it as the presenter or co-host and must not record it by any means, whether with the meeting service's own tools, other software or another device. Any recording of a session belongs to GPAtlas and is held by us. While a partner is signed in, GPAtlas pages show their name faintly across the screen. The free access we grant a partner is described on their partner page, never results in a charge, and ends as set out there: it opens when we approve them, stays open for five weeks after each session they run, and ends at once if the partnership ends. We may end a partner's permission and access at any time, including where we see misuse.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, and materials on the Site are the exclusive intellectual property of GPAtlas LTD. You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence for personal, non-commercial educational use only for the duration of your subscription.

You may not copy, share, resell, or create derivative works from our content. You must not use our materials to teach others in any commercial setting, including tutoring, coaching, or institutional delivery. The only exception is the permission in section 7.8 for approved live session partners, within its limits.

9. Account Conduct and Security

Each account is for individual use only. Sharing login credentials is a material breach of these Terms. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account where misuse is detected, with no refund for the remaining period except where the law requires one. To protect subscriber content we keep the automated usage records described in our Privacy Policy, and bulk copying, scraping or systematic downloading of the content is a material breach of these Terms. Those records exist to protect the service and its content, nothing else: they are never used to assess anyone's learning and never shared with employers or training programmes.

10. CPD Tracking and Record Integrity

10.1 How CPD Credits Are Calculated:

GPAtlas uses a module-specific credit system. Credits are not manually entered by users; they are calculated automatically from verified engagement data as follows:

Ocean (Clinical Articles):

Credits are awarded only upon explicit user confirmation of section or full-article completion. Each article carries a maximum CPD credit cap derived from the estimated time to read and reflect on its clinical content, in line with the RCGP convention of approximately one credit per hour of learning. Exam-preparation material (AKT and SCA practice) and reference lists are excluded from this calculation. The cap is divided across the article's sections, so completing more sections earns more credit, up to the article maximum. No passive reading or scrolling generates credits.

Echo Audio Summaries:

Credits equal audio duration (minutes) ÷ 60, awarded automatically when ≥85% of the audio has been played.

Echo Deep Dive Podcasts:

Credits equal audio duration (minutes) ÷ 60, awarded automatically when ≥60% of the podcast has been played.

Scope Infographics:

A fixed 0.25 credits per infographic, awarded automatically when ≥85% of the infographic has been scrolled.

10.2 Nature of CPD Recording:

10.6 User Personalisation of CPD Records:

Users may personalise their CPD Hub in the following ways. Neither option affects the integrity of the underlying CPD record:

Activity Deletion:

Users may remove any CPD activity from their CPD Hub at any time. Deleted activities are removed from view and excluded from certificate totals. The underlying engagement record is retained internally to preserve audit trails and certificate verification integrity.

Custom Display Titles:

Users may edit the display title of any CPD activity using the edit function in the CPD Hub. This changes only the label shown in the CPD Hub and on any downloaded PDF certificates. The underlying record, including credits earned, completion timestamps, and sections completed, remains immutable. The original content title can be restored at any time.

10.7 User Responsibility for Edits and Deletions:

The personalisation tools described in Section 10.6 are provided as a convenience only. By using them you acknowledge and accept the following:

Custom display titles are labels, not redesignations.

Editing the display title of a CPD activity does not change the underlying clinical content, topic, or subject matter of the activity you engaged with. The original, system-generated title and content remain the definitive record of what was completed.

You are solely responsible

for the accuracy and appropriateness of any custom title you apply. You must not use custom titles that misrepresent the nature of the activity, for example, relabelling a paediatric clinical topic as safeguarding, prescribing, or any other unrelated subject for the purpose of claiming CPD credit in a domain you have not actually covered.

GPAtlas does not review, verify, or endorse user-supplied titles.

No automated or human check is performed on custom titles before they are displayed or included on downloaded certificates.

Deletion is your choice and final.

Removing an activity is a user-initiated action and you accept any consequence of that removal on your personal CPD portfolio. GPAtlas retains the underlying engagement record internally for audit and certificate-verification integrity only.

No misuse

against any loss, claim, regulatory action, or professional consequence arising from your misuse of these tools, including but not limited to misrepresentation to an appraiser, the General Medical Council, an employer, or any other third party.

On request by a competent authority (for example, the General Medical Council or an appraiser with appropriate authority), GPAtlas may disclose the original system-generated title, timestamps, and engagement data for any CPD activity logged against your account.

10.8 Ask Expert and Self-Directed Learning Entries:

From within the AI Suite, you may log an Ask Expert question to your CPD Hub as a self-directed learning activity using the "+ CPD" control, and you may add your own reflection. Such entries record self-directed learning that you have chosen to log, rather than verified content engagement. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any such entry, and any reflection you add, accurately and honestly reflects learning you have genuinely undertaken. The user-responsibility and indemnity provisions in Sections 10.5 and 10.7 apply equally to these entries.

11. FourteenFish API Integration

We offer an optional integration with the FourteenFish Partner API, allowing you to send your CPD entries and certificates from your CPD Hub directly to your FourteenFish Portfolio.

By choosing to link your FourteenFish account, you grant GPAtlas explicit authorisation to act on your behalf to transmit this data to your FourteenFish portfolio.

GPAtlas acts solely as a secure transmitter of this data. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or subsequent handling of your data within the FourteenFish platform.

You remain solely responsible for verifying that all transferred entries appear correctly within your FourteenFish Portfolio and for managing your portfolio. Your use of the FourteenFish platform is governed by their separate terms of service.

You may revoke this authorisation at any time via your GPAtlas account settings. Revoking access will prevent any future data from being sent.

11.6. Intellectual Property Acknowledgement:

"FourteenFish" is a trading name and registered trademark of Egton Medical Information Systems Limited. This integration is facilitated via the public FourteenFish Partner API. GPAtlas is an independent educational platform and is not officially endorsed by, partnered with, or affiliated with Egton Medical Information Systems Limited.

12. Limitation of Liability and Platform Availability

12.1 Liability:

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GPAtlas shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or financial loss, including loss of income, data, or adverse exam performance. Our maximum aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12.2 Availability:

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Site may experience temporary downtime for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, misuse discount schemes, or provide false information, with no refund for the remaining period except where the law requires one. Download your CPD certificates before your access ends.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
