GPAtlas is an evidence-based clinical learning platform that brings concise guidance, AI tools, audio learning and automated CPD into one place for primary care clinicians.
We built it because we have lived the same days you have.
The trainee's year. A trainee revises heart failure for the AKT in March. In June a patient walks in with it, and the same topic has to be learned again, from different sources, in a different shape, with the SCA a few months away.
The GP's week. A GP finishes a clinic with one question still open, asks a chatbot that sounds certain and cites nothing, and then, the week before appraisal, rebuilds a year of learning from memory.
You might be a qualified GP, a trainee facing the curriculum and the exams, a nurse or pharmacist working in primary care, or a family medicine doctor anywhere in the world. Whoever you are, the challenge has never been your willingness to learn. It is the weight of everything you are expected to know, alongside the time you simply do not have.
When we talked to colleagues, we kept hearing the same two things. Trainees told us they wanted one trusted place for up-to-date guidance, without studying the same things again for the AKT, the SCA and practice. GPs told us they wanted something they could rely on in the age of AI, with CPD that logs itself while they learn.
That is why we built a better way.
The Elephant ð and the Turtle ðĒ
Our compass ð§ is our symbol, and the idea behind it is a short story every clinician will recognise.
The Elephant ð is the weight GPs carry: the clinical knowledge, the changing guidelines, the curriculum, CPD and the paperwork.
The Turtle ðĒ is how we have traditionally tried to keep up: slowly, through fragmented resources, manual logs and learning squeezed into whatever time is left.

So we built GPAtlas around one idea: bring the knowledge, the exam preparation, the CPD and the everyday tools into one place, and use technology, including AI, to make them easier to reach at the moment you need them.
The aim is not to replace clinical judgement or the clinician. It is to take the friction out of learning and everyday GP work, so the same limited time goes further.
How GPAtlas makes learning lighter
For trainees, learn it once. The clinical library, the exam preparation and the consultation tools sit in one place, written to the same curriculum and reviewed by the same GPs, so what you prepare for the AKT and the SCA is what you use in the consulting room afterwards.
For GPs, something to rely on in the age of AI. Ask Expert finds current UK guidance and shows its sources beside the answer, so you can check it rather than take it on trust. You always hold the clinical decision. Admin Copilot drafts the referral or the letter, and the Portfolio and Appraisal Hub coaches your entries rather than just storing them.

GP training is one of the hardest stretches of a clinical career, and we have not forgotten what helped and what did not. That is what GPAtlas is built from: the platform we wished we had had.
Every resource is reviewed and updated by practising UK GPs and overseen by a Clinical Advisory Officer, so it is accurate and in line with current UK guidance.
Our roots and our governance are in UK practice. The approach works for family medicine anywhere.
We are also checked by people who do not work for us: independently security tested, Cyber Essentials certified and ICO registered, and GPAtlas includes an MHRA Class I registered medical device. The details are on our Security page.
Our commitment
Independent. No ads, no pharma money, no data selling. Personal data is never used to train AI models.
Open to everyone. The UK's first neuroinclusive GP learning platform, with dyslexia mode, ADHD mode and adjustable text on every page at no additional cost, and a confidential Hardship Access Programme for anyone who needs it.
Practical. Everything we build has to work in a real clinic, not just on paper.
