πŸ’‘ Ask Expert

It shows you where the answer came from.

Ask in your own words. It searches current UK guidance while you wait and puts the source beside every line.

  • Type it, dictate it or attach a letter. Identifiers are removed automatically and files are never saved.
  • It answers only from what it has just found, trusted UK publishers first, and it never makes up a reference.
  • You check every line and the decision stays yours. GPAtlas includes an MHRA Class I registered medical device.
β€œWhen I'm unsure, Ask Expert surfaces the relevant guidance and its sources in seconds. I still make the clinical call, but it saves me trawling multiple sites.”
SB, GP Registrar

πŸ§ͺ Labs and antimicrobials

The result on the screen, and what to do about it.

One sheet per question, with every threshold, its number and its unit, and the antibiotic decision on a page of its own.

  • Each lab sheet shows what normal looks like, what needs action today, what can wait and what to do next.
  • The antibiotic sheets help you choose between treating now, a back-up prescription and nothing at all.
  • The calculators, from Wells to CHA2DS2-VASc, explain each result instead of just printing it.

πŸ“‹ Admin Copilot

The evening work, done before you leave.

Type the shorthand you already use and it drafts the referral, the A&G request, the letter or the patient message.

  • Every abbreviation is expanded and nothing is invented.
  • Patient messages come with the right NHS page for that condition or medicine, and safety-net advice at the end.
  • Fit notes, SBARs and home visit notes work the same way. Read it, tweak it, send it.
β€œRunning online triage, Admin Copilot drafts my referrals and patient messages in seconds, and it even attaches the right NHS patient information leaflet. I just read, tweak and send.”
RK, GP Partner

πŸŽ™οΈ Clinical Rounds

One clinical case, worked through out loud.

Every week Sarah and Ben take one clinical scenario and talk it through, with the transcript running beside them.

  • It's free to listen, and you don't need an account.
  • Sign in and the listening time goes into your CPD by itself.
  • Every episode lists its references underneath.

πŸ“œ CPD that logs itself

By appraisal week, the log is already written.

Everything you read, hear and ask on GPAtlas is logged as you go, with the credits counted for you.

  • Articles, audio, infographics, sheets and Ask Expert answers are each recorded with the time spent, so there's nothing to type up afterwards.
  • Make a certificate for any dates you like. Each one has its own ID that an appraiser can check.
  • Send the lot to FourteenFish instead of copying it across by hand.
β€œA real learning experience that fits GP life, with visuals for clinic and CPD tracking I don't have to think about.”
MY, Salaried GP

πŸ“œ CPD that logs itself

By revalidation, the log is already written.

For nurses, pharmacists, physios and every clinician in the practice, what you read, hear and ask is logged as you go.

  • Each piece of learning is recorded with the time spent, so there's nothing to piece together at the end of the year.
  • Add a reflection to any entry, which is the part revalidation actually asks for.
  • Make a certificate for any dates you like, each with an ID that can be checked online.

🎧 The Echo

Revise the whole curriculum by ear, in under 48 hours.

500+ audio summaries and deep-dive podcasts, each one the companion of a topic in The Ocean.

  • Every chapter of the curriculum, about three minutes a topic.
  • Ready for the car, the train or the dog walk in the days before the exam.
  • Your CPD logs itself while you listen.
β€œThe audio summaries turned my commute into valuable learning. Structured, evidence-based, and perfect for busy GPs.”
AH, Locum GP

🧭 AKT Compass

Every question explains itself.

3,500+ questions, each one answered, argued and cited, and three mock exams at the real clock.

  • Tutor mode explains as you go. Exam mode stays quiet until the end, like the real paper.
  • Every chapter is read aloud to you, so revision carries on during the walk to work.
  • Statistics and admin have chapters of their own, with their own questions, because that's where quiet marks are won.

🎯 AceTheSCA

Hear how a good consultation actually sounds.

200+ cases with audio walkthroughs, 280+ management dilemmas, the guide and the marking sheet, in one place.

  • Every case comes from practising GPs, with an audio walkthrough of the whole consultation.
  • Then practise out loud with the AI SCA Simulator: three minutes to read, twelve to consult, and your feedback marked on the three domains.
  • The consultation guide and the marking sheet are free.
β€œFinally, a platform that really knows what is needed for The SCA. It covers everything I needed; I have never seen such a comprehensive platform.”
IM, GPST3

✍️ Portfolio and Appraisal Hub

Your scribbled note, turned into an entry you're proud of.

It thinks the case through with you, the way a good educational supervisor would, and then writes the entry with you.

  • Nothing is invented. The entry is built only from what you tell it.
  • Every entry is mapped to the RCGP capabilities, and every word stays yours to change.
  • It covers case reviews, significant events, QIPs, your PDP and the rest of the portfolio.
β€œThe Portfolio & Appraisal Hub turns my scribbled notes into structured, portfolio-mapped reflections. Writing up for my ARCP went from a dreaded weekend to a quick review.”
HN, GP trainee

πŸ“˜ Mandatory Training

Statutory and mandatory training, free for your whole practice.

Written for general practice, from reception to the nursing team, with safeguarding up to Level 3.

  • Free for everyone who works in a GP practice.
  • A page for each role shows what that person needs and how often to refresh it.
  • Every certificate has its own code, so the practice manager can check it online, and the records are there when CQC asks to see them.

🧭 When to suspect · Acne Vulgaris

Acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the pilosebaceous unit, driven by four processes acting together: increased sebum production, abnormal follicular keratinisation, colonisation with Cutibacterium acnes, and inflammation.

It usually begins around puberty and most often affects the face, though the chest, shoulders and upper back are commonly involved.

πŸ’¬ Before you decide

What colleagues ask us first

Who writes GPAtlas?

GPAtlas was founded and is led by practising GPs, with GP trainees helping from the front line. The clinical library is reviewed and updated by practising GPs and overseen by a Clinical Advisory Officer, and every page shows the date it was last updated.

Is it only for GPs?

No. GP trainees use it for the AKT, the SCA and their ARCP. Nurses, ANPs, ACPs, pharmacists and physios use the same library and Ask Expert in their own clinics. Mandatory Training covers everyone in the practice, reception included.

What comes with a free account?

Quite a lot. A full AKT mock, an SCA mock exam, your first consultations with the AI patient, the weekly Clinical Rounds case, Mandatory Training for the whole practice, the calculators, Spotlight, the weekly updates in UK guidance, and CPD tracking from the day you join.

What does Premium add?

The whole clinical library, meaning The Ocean, The Scope, The Echo and the lab and antibiotic sheets. It adds the AI Suite too, which is Ask Expert, Admin Copilot and Portfolio Hub, plus your CPD certificates and the FourteenFish export. AKT Compass and AceTheSCA are plans of their own.

How is Ask Expert different from a general AI chatbot?

A general chatbot draws on the open internet and can invent references. Ask Expert searches trusted UK guidance while you wait and puts the actual source beside every line, so you can check it. The clinical decision stays with you.

Does it count towards appraisal and revalidation?

Yes. Your learning logs itself in the CPD Hub from the day you join, with time-based credits in line with RCGP guidance, and you can add a reflection to any entry. Premium adds certificates an appraiser or employer can verify, and the export to FourteenFish.

Can the whole practice join?

Yes. Mandatory Training is free for every member of staff, and your clinicians can add Premium. Book a demo and we'll show your team round.

Is your data safe with us?

Yes. We're registered with the ICO and certified to Cyber Essentials. Independently penetration tested by a CREST-accredited provider. The assurance letter is available to practices and NHS organisations on request. Your personal data never trains AI models, and card payments are taken by our payment provider, so we never see or store your card number.
